Based on a Canadian Member's request, the following is the information they received on how to obtain an certification of monthly income letter from the Embassy of Canada in Bangkok.

COPY OF EMAIL TEXT

The Embassy of Canada provides a letter confirming an income for Canadian citizen applying for a retirement visa, a marriage visa, and one year visa renewal to stay in Thailand.

You will be able to apply for an income letter in person, or by e-mail, or by post.

1.To apply in person:

Please book an appointment and bring the below document to Consular section, Embassy of Canada at website: https://cts-ca.anzus.solutions/?customer=embassyca&wf=appointments&action=schedule&locationId=BNGKK

-Completed affidavit

-Original passport

-Supporting document confirms your pension or other income such as Canada Revenue Agency statement, Income tax return slip, or pension letter, or 3 months of bank statement showing monthly income

-Fee of CAD$ 50.- pay by a credit card (Visa or Master) at the Embassy.

 

2.To apply by e-mail or by post: Service may be take 1-2 weeks.

Considering that COVID-19 has been relaxed, requirement for a lawyer's signature and stamp on Affidavit and copy of passport is reapplied.

Please e-mail or mail the following documents to the Embassy of Canada;

-Completed affidavit notarized by a local lawyer

-Copy of your passport notarized by a local lawyer

-Supporting document confirms your pension or other income such as Canada Revenue Agency statement, Income tax return slip, or pension letter, or 3 months of bank statement showing monthly income

-Fee of CAD$ 50.- pay by a credit card (Visa or Master) by completing the attached "Credit card authorization form"

Once receive your request, we will issue a letter addressing to the Thai Immigration confirming your income.

The letter will be mailed/EMS back to your address.
