The Club was formed in March 2001 and adopted its first governing rules on 17 July 2002.  On 27 July 2003, a constitution was adopted which was replaced on 24 April 2005. The latest Constitution was adopted on 20 May 2007.

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, the Board canceled the July 2020 AGM and extended the terms of expiring Board Members until the next AGM in July 2022. During this period, Bob Smith and John Morris resigned. The Board appointed Hans (John) Stroosnijder and George Wilson to serve on the Board until the Annual General Meeting held on 6 July 2022.
