Thai Immigration Offices often require "legalization" of submitted documents. This can be a translation of a document from another language (usually those not in English) or documents issued by foreign Embassies to affix a stamp attesting to the authenticity of the Embassy Consular Officer's signature on the document.
The fee for legalization is 400 baht for regular processing or 800 baht express processing (same day).

Legalization Service is now available in Pattaya at the same location where Thais can obtain passports.
The office is on the 4th floor of the Central Pattaya Shopping Center which has entries from Beach Road and 2nd Road.
The Consular Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) building on Chang Wattana.
closest BTS (Skytrain) & MRT (Subway) station is Mo Chit. The taxi
fare from this station should be around 100 baht - return fare may be
slightly higher to cover tolls if you let the driver use the expressway.
