We will be welcoming Barry Upton and David (Grasshopper) Lee back for a Words & Music presentation of East Meets West.

Barry needs no introduction. He is a well-known songwriter, music arranger, engineer, and musician in Pattaya. He has entertained us many times and provided interesting insights into the music business. Born in England in the 1950’s, Barry has been in the music business all his life and writing new songs is one of his favorite aspects of the music business. Chinese singer David S. Lee shared his journey from being a Taiwanese born boy to becoming an international pop star. At the young age of 23, he opened a successful recording studio and production company, working with top artists and producing numerous albums. His talent and dedication led him to form an entertainment company in Hollywood, where he produced and promoted major international events.

As the President of Grasshopper Music/SONY, David produced and released over 30 albums, including recordings by Grammy Award-winning artists. He has also authored books on music production, sharing his expertise and insights with aspiring musicians.
