It is our annual Christmas program. This year we will have back the children’s choir from the Pattaya Redemptorist Blind School, part of The Father Ray Foundation, and Thomas Householder from Mitchells Chocolates will return for his topic, Dreaming of a Chocolatey Christmas.
Roger Fox and Poppy Quinn will be introducing the children who will be performing Christmas carols on this Christmas eve day, a fortuitous & perfect timing for the show! What the children lack in physical sight is made up by their excellent ear for music and intricate harmony which promises to “wow the crowd!”
Roger will also talk about his involvement with the school through his local chapter of the VFW, the US Veterans of Foreign Wars, who are currently helping to fund various projects at the school. Poppy will interview his friend, Khun Joobjang, a young blind music teacher at the school, who started as a student herself years ago.

And for anyone moved by the “Christmas spirit” as a result of the presentation, donation boxes will be available at the back of the meeting room to help support the Blind School which runs mostly on donations from both Thais & expats alike.
Christmas and chocolates have long been
intertwined as symbols of joy, indulgence, and togetherness. From the rich
aroma of cocoa to the delight of unwrapping a beautifully decorated box,
chocolates capture the spirit of the season—sweetness shared among family and
friends. They evoke childhood memories of holiday treats, stockings filled with
surprises, and the simple pleasure of savoring something special.
At Christmastime, chocolates become more than confections; they are gifts of comfort and celebration, perfectly embodying the warmth and generosity that define the holiday.
Thomas, who believes like fine wines; fine chocolates are a luxury for those true chocolate lovers will tell us more with his talk about dreaming of a cocolatey Christmas. He previously spoke to us about “Making Superb Chocolates. His business, Mitchells Artisan Chocolates, enables him follow his passion for making fine handcrafted chocolates.
