A sensational Words & Music presentation with Bill Gulfoil and Scott “Ta Wan” Lewis returning to our stage to tell us “Why That Song?” Has anyone ever wondered why they walk into a bar or club with live music and they hear a lot of the same songs from different bands? They will explain how they pick music that they play and provide us with some great examples to enjoy.
Bill has had his whole life filled with music, from literal Garage Bands to a long running Wedding Band, as well as the best Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band in the world (by some opinions). This brought him to playing in various venues in Pattaya. He is just a guy who enjoys making music with his friends.
Scott “Ta Wan” brings more than just his voice to the stage — he brings a lifetime of musical curiosity, technical mastery, and heartfelt performance. With roots in formal vocal training and musical theater, Scott’s journey began over 15 years ago when he picked up a guitar to complete a band lineup. That spark led to the founding of Second Story, a group known for its rich sound and inventive songwriting.
Scott’s style blends classic rock, golden oldies, and crowd-friendly sing-a-longs, making him a favorite in Pattaya’s live music scene. His shows at venues like Angel’s Bar Jomtien and The Classroom Pattaya are warm, interactive, and full of familiar tunes.
